In 2020, we strove to spark a brand-new synergy between the gentle grace of the East and modern minimalism. The birth of the Starry Rain 'Slender Waist' collection is the tangible answer to this exploration. Inspired by the fluid curves of the Canton Tower, fondly known as the 'Slender Waist', we set out to infuse the lamp design with the curvilinear philosophy of restrained poise and the harmony of strength and softness, a core tenet of Eastern aesthetics. We aimed for the lamps to exude the elegance of a delicate waistline while retaining the structural dynamism to hold their shape. Hung in a space, they appear as vivid, flowing arcs of light and shadow, rather than cold, inanimate decor.
